NIYANTA CHOWDHURY

NIYANTA CHOWDHURY graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2023 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2024. Her practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution, with experience across construction law, commercial arbitration, criminal defence, insolvency, and tax. She is developing a growing specialisation in construction and infrastructure-related disputes.

She has been involved in a range of notable matters, including assisting in several adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act, assisting in the defence in complex criminal proceedings involving multiple serious charges, and advising on regulatory obligations under the Securities and Futures Act and SGX Mainboard Rules. She has also worked on matters involving landlord-tenant disputes and property tax appeals. Niyanta is dedicated to learning and tackling legal and factual challenges with a clear and methodical approach.
